the switch Block
Flat view on(top) and off(bottom)
Switches allow the robot to make a decisions. The settings look similar to a wait or loop block. However, it is not waiting for that condition to be met but rather determining if that condition has been met or not at that point in the program. If its condition is met then the top technibrick line will be taken, else the bottom line will be. Blocks can be placed on these lines so that certain actions are taken based on the condition.
The switch can contain blocks just like the loop can. There are two places to put them, the top and bottom lines. To the left of each line is the condition that must be met to go down that line.
Remember that the robot will only check the condition once at a single second. If you want it to constantly check this, put it in a loop.
Since the settings are the same, please refer to the Wait Block section for settings. The main difference is that there is a checkbox inside that says "Flat View" beside it. This changes the layout of the block according to the picture above.
